3 green chillies, cut into two and slit in between
4 shallots, sliced
1 ½ tsp turmeric powder
2 tbsp oil
1 1/2 tsp black cumin
2 cups washed Basmati Rice
3 cups water
Salt to taste
In the same oil, add green chillies and black cumin. Sauté for a minute.
Now, add rice, along with the turmeric powder and salt.
Stir to combine all the ingredients.
Transfer the rice mixture into a rice cooker, and pour in the water.
Stir and allow rice to cook.
