Those
who've been following my social media and blogosphere journey are likely aware
of my deep passion for gardening (The Enchanting World Of Bunga Kantan/Torch Ginger). Gardening is not just a pastime for me; it's
my pride, my joy, and the heart of my fitness sanctuary, Nava's Zen. I have a
special affection for herbs, plants, fruit trees, and, more recently, roses. Initially,
my attempts with roses were less than successful, but I dedicated myself to
mastering the art of rose cultivation. Now, I take pride in the thriving blooms
that grace my garden. Roses, with their exquisite beauty and enchanting
fragrance, have found a special place in my heart.
I nurture these roses in pots, diligently feeding them with organic fertilizer, providing water, and occasionally pruning. Occasionally, their thorns remind me of their presence with a gentle prick, a reminder of the beautiful responsibility they bring to my life. In the near future, I plan to expand my garden with different varieties of roses. Currently, the ones in my care receive all the love and attention they deserve. This journey allows me to live life to the fullest in my late fifties, embracing my 'five nine' existence.
One might wonder why roses hold such a
profound significance in my gardening adventure. It's not just their external
beauty, but the symbolism they carry. Roses represent various facets of life,
each petal a layer of meaning. They stand for love, gratitude, and,
interestingly, resilience. The latter resonates deeply with me. Resilience,
much like the thorns that occasionally prick my fingers, is a reminder that
life isn't always a bed of roses. It's about navigating through the challenges,
embracing discomfort, and emerging stronger and more beautiful. This principle
extends far beyond my garden.
As the founder of Nava's Zen, I've found
this same resilience essential in the world of fitness and well-being. Every
workout, every yoga session is a reminder that growth often involves
discomfort. It's about pushing past boundaries, just like the roots of my roses
searching for nourishment. There's something profoundly meditative about
tending to my garden. The rhythmic act of watering, the precision of pruning,
and the patience required for growth parallel the mindfulness cultivated in
yoga and fitness practices. It's a holistic approach to life and well-being
that I embrace with open arms.
My 'five nine' life, as I like to call it,
is a testament to the richness of experiences that continue to unfold. It's
about finding passion, nurturing it, and allowing it to blossom. It's about
resilience, patience, and the beauty that arises from life's thorns. In
closing, I invite you to explore your own passions, to find the roses in your
life, and to tend to them with love and dedication. Embrace the lessons they offer,
for they have the power to transform not only your garden but your entire
journey of life."
