Here's the streamlined recipe:
Ingredients:
5 potatoes (peeled, diced into bite-sized pieces
& mix some salt in)
2 onions (roughly pounded)
Bird's eye chilies (to taste, roughly pounded)
Red chilies (to taste, roughly pounded)
Fresh lime juice (to taste)
Salt (to taste)
Cooking oil (as needed)
Method:
Heat some oil in a pan, then add the diced
potatoes. Fry them until they are fully cooked, then remove and set them aside.
Reduce the amount of oil in the pan, then add the
roughly pounded onions and chilies. Sauté them until they become aromatic and
slightly softened.
Reintroduce the fried potatoes and stir everything
together.
Add fresh lime juice and season with salt according
to your taste. Continue stirring until well combined.
Once everything is mixed and heated through, your
simplified East Potato Sambal is ready to be served. Enjoy!
