Nyonya Lam Mee: Hearty and Nourishing Choice

(Updated Version)

Noodles (MALACCA'S NYONYA FOOD FIESTA) are a delightful culinary experience, offering a welcome break from the routine of rice-based meals. Particularly enjoyable during wet and chilly weather, noodles provide warmth and satisfaction to the palate. Among the various noodle dishes I've explored, my preference often leans toward the soupy varieties. Soups, after all, are not only nourishing but also filling, making them an excellent choice for those mindful of their weight. The key is to opt for soups rich in proteins and loaded with vegetables, steering clear of heavy, calorie-laden options.

When you desire more substance in your meal, incorporating noodles into your soup is a fantastic option. Today, the market offers a wide range of healthier noodle choices, making it easier to align your meals with your wellness goals.

Homemade Vegetarian Curry Laksa & Curry Mee - Malaysian Style

There’s always a delightful vegetarian dish emerging from Ms. Nava’s kitchen (EASIEST MALAYSIAN VEGETARIAN NASI LEMAK). Today, we have the renowned Malaysian Curry Laksa, also known as Curry Mee. You might be wondering what the difference is between Curry Laksa and Curry Mee. To me, it’s quite simple: both are essentially the same dish. Curry Mee typically refers to the type of noodles used, namely the yellow or egg noodles. Additionally, there are various styles and regional variations to explore.

I’ve also prepared a Thai-style Vegetarian Curry Laksa, which you can find in my recipe for Siamese Laksa. Moreover, I’m including a recipe for Vegetarian Curry Mee that I created quite a while back; it remains a favorite and is definitely worth a try.

Easy Tips for Growing Spring Onions in Urban Gardens

Spring onions are known by different names around the world - green onions, scallions, bunching onions, or Welsh onions. In Malaysia, we commonly refer to the green stalks that sprout from onions or shallots as spring onions. I only discovered they’re also called scallions after using the term "spring onions" and finding out they go by both names. Regardless of what you call them, did you know how easy it is to grow spring onions?

Repurposing Shallots and Onions for Growing Spring Onions

Never throw away onions or shallots that are no longer suitable for cooking or are about to spoil. These can easily be repurposed to grow spring onions. That’s exactly how I grow mine.

Must-Visit Sights in Turkey

The journey in Turkey continued (ISTANBUL TIMELESS TRAVELS). Quite an exhausting one, from place to place, with only two more days before it was time to say bye-bye to Turkey (TURKEY MUST-SEE SIGHTSEEING SPOTS).

Sultanhanı/Aksaray

Sultanhani Caravanserai, located about 40 km (25 mi) from Aksaray on the way from Konya, was built in the 13th century as a safe trading post and way station on the Silk Road. Constructed between 1229 and 1236 by Turkish Sultan Alaaddin Keykubat I, the Sultanhani Caravanserai has been restored numerous times over its eight centuries of existence. Over time, the caravanserai became a stopover for traders heading to Istanbul.

Chili Chocolate Cookies (Eggless)

Have you ever made chili chocolate cookies? I’ll be honest - it was my first attempt. I got the idea after watching cooking shows that combined chili and chocolate. I thought, “Why not?” since I was already in the baking mood (PEANUT COOKIES & FA SANG WOO).

I needed to buy a box of cocoa powder, but luckily I had some cayenne pepper at home. The rest of the ingredients were already in my pantry. So, I decided to bake chili chocolate cookies, and to my surprise, everyone who tasted them loved them (NYONYA PINEAPPLE TARTS). The bitterness of the cocoa, the sweetness of the sugar, and the touch of spiciness from the chilies created a perfect balance. Wow! I’m sure you can’t wait to bake these eggless chili cookies.

Easiest Malaysian Vegetarian Nasi Lemak Recipe

How about a simple yet satisfying Vegetarian Nasi Lemak? Nasi Lemak is a beloved Malaysian classic that can be enjoyed at any time of the day. I’m excited to share the easiest and simplest vegetarian version with you, along with perfect pairings. Let’s get to the recipe.

Nasi Lemak

Nasi Lemak is often translated as "rich or creamy rice" in English. This name refers to rice cooked in coconut milk, giving it a rich, creamy flavor - essentially, coconut milk rice. Whether vegetarian or non-vegetarian, the rice is the star of the dish, and for both variations, it is always vegetarian (GOBI MANCHURIAN & VEG CAULIFLOWER RECIPES).

Kuih Lompang & Kuih Kaswi: Traditional Malaysian Desserts.

Ah, it’s kuih-muih time with Kuih Lompang Gula Melaka. This delightful Malaysian dessert is a soft, steamed treat made from all-purpose flour and tapioca flour, sweetened with palm sugar (gula melaka) for a rich, caramel-like flavor (WAJIK PULUT: GLUTINOUS RICE CAKES).

While Kuih Kaswi and Kuih Lompang share similarities, Kuih Kaswi is typically chewier, whereas Kuih Lompang is denser and often steamed in cups, making it a unique indulgence. As you indulge, remember to enjoy mindfully. A little goes a long way (BANANA DESSERTS: PANCAKES & COCONUT).

Suicide in Young Indian Women in Selangor: Yoga Therapy

Author

Abstract
This article explores the intricate relationship between cultural expectations, mental health, and wellness practices among young Indian women in Selangor. It examines how societal pressures and a lack of mental health awareness contribute to emotional distress and coping strategies, particularly in the context of yoga therapy. Despite the growing prevalence of mental health issues and rising suicide rates, yoga remains undervalued within the community, often overshadowed by more competitive pursuits.

This study highlights the potential of yoga therapy to foster resilience and emotional well-being, advocating for its integration into daily life as a preventive measure against mental health crises. By promoting open discussions around mental health and encouraging holistic practices, families can create supportive environments that nurture the mental wellness of young Indian women, ultimately leading to healthier, more balanced lives.

Banana Desserts: Pancakes, Fritters, Flambé & Coconut

Ready to indulge in effortless dessert yumminess? While some go for elaborate creations, Ms. Nava’s sweet treats are all about creativity and simplicity. Why complicate things when you can whip up delightful desserts with ease (CHRYSANTHEMUM GOJI BERRY JELLY).

"It’s About Time” to embrace the straightforward yet scrumptious joys of dessert-making. And speaking of simplicity, bananas are a staple in my kitchen. Shhh, don’t tell anyone, but bananas are my go-to for a quick energy boost in the morning. When those bananas start to show signs of aging, I transform them into irresistible desserts. And yes, pancakes are not just for breakfast in my world (EASIEST BANANA CHOCOLATE CAKE).

Bitter Gourd Recipes: Omelette, Stir-Fry, Soup & Sambal

Much has already been said about bitter gourd, but let me refresh your memory. Bitter gourd, also known as bitter melon, is celebrated for its health benefits and unique flavor. If you’re curious about its benefits or how to grow it at home, feel free to explore at CRISPY BITTER GOURD CHIPS & SRI LANKA BITTER GOURD SALAD.

Today, however, we’re focusing on showcasing Chinese bitter gourd. This variety is typically lighter in color and comes in various sizes, often larger than the Indian version. When using Chinese bitter gourd, it only makes sense to feature it in a Chinese-style dish. I must admit, I haven’t tried incorporating it into Indian recipes, but today’s focus is all about the classic pairing of bitter gourd and eggs in an omelette.

Tasty Thai, Bukit Rimau: A Food Critic's Thai Bite

Arriving at Tasty Thai in Bukit Rimau around 11:50 AM with two lunch companions, we found ourselves among just three or four other early diners. Despite the quiet start, the staff were fully prepared to serve us. The moment I stepped inside, it felt like walking into a space that blended the warmth of a traditional Thai family home with the refined atmosphere of a high-end Thai food stall. The ambiance was serene and calming, instantly putting me at ease.

Kerabu Taugeh: Veg & Non-Veg Options, Including Chicken Feet

(Updated Version)

I absolutely love all things kerabu (NASI KERABU KELANTAN). This traditional Malaysian Malay salad is a delightful fusion of flavors, combining the crunchy freshness of vegetables with the bold, tangy notes of Malaysian cuisine. Among its many variations, there's the fruity KERABU MANGGA (Mango Salad). What makes kerabu so appealing is its simplicity - sometimes the veggies need a quick blanch, other times they don't, but it's always about prepping the ingredients and giving them a quick toss. Today, I’m sharing three kerabu recipes with you, starting with Kerabu Taugeh, a vegetarian version that showcases the bold flavors Malaysians adore (KUANTAN ANA IKAN BAKAR KERABU MANGGA). Don't underestimate this vegetarian kerabu - it’s just as satisfying.

I’ve also got a non-vegetarian twist with Kerabu Tauge Ikan Bilis Goreng (Bean Sprout Fried Anchovy Salad), and another unique variation, Kerabu Kaki Ayam (Chicken Feet Salad). And as a final treat, I'll include a recipe for Tauge Goreng Telur (Bean Sprout Egg Fried). Ready to dive into these recipes? Let’s get started before we drool any further.

Peanut Cookies & Fa Sang Woo: Classic Treats with a Twist

(Updated Version)

No matter the festival in Malaysia, peanut cookies are a beloved treat that everyone looks forward to. Whether it's Chinese New Year, Hari Raya, or Deepavali, these cookies are a staple among the festive offerings (NYONYA PINEAPPLE TARTS). Nowadays, buying peanut cookies is a breeze, with countless options available, including homemade varieties.

I made peanut cookies for the first time during Chinese New Year, curious about the so-called "secret" recipes. After a couple of unsuccessful attempts with online recipes, I wondered if the impressive photos and popularity of these recipes were misleading. However, after some trial and error, my homemade cookies turned out fabulous (SUJI COOKIES).

Turkey's Must-See Sightseeing Spots

Having explored Istanbul's rich of history and culture (ISTANBUL TIMELESS TRAVELS), which was not only fulfilling but also breathtaking during this early winter (DENMARK-NORWAY REFLECTIONS), my journey through Turkey continued to other places for more famous sightseeing spots. From ancient marvels to picturesque landscapes (COMO, LUGANO & MILAN), each stop offered a new perspective and unforgettable experiences. Join me as I share the highlights of my travels beyond Istanbul.

Çanakkale - Troy

Troy, one of the world's most renowned archaeological sites, boasts a history spanning 4,000 years and was unearthed in the 19th century. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, ancient Troy is famed for its association with the legendary Trojan War. This pivotal Greek mythological tale, centered around Trojan prince Paris and his abduction of Helen, sparked a decade-long conflict.

Crispy Bitter Gourd Chips & Sri Lankan Karavila Salad Recipes

(Updated Version)

Growing bitter gourd aligns beautifully with Nava’s Zen philosophy. The glossy, dark green fruits are stunning but don’t last long, prompting a cycle of growth. After initial setbacks, I’m ready to cultivate them again.

Cultivating bitter gourd is straightforward - you can either dry the seeds or use them directly from your cooking. To my delight, seeds from my kitchen have sprouted new plants.

Suji Cookies: Sugee/Semolina Melt-In-Your-Mouth Bites

(Updated Version)

How can Deepavali be complete without Suji Cookies? For me, they're a beloved tradition. Growing up, baking Suji Cookies was a family event. We used an old round silver oven with a glass window to check on the cookies, but the round meter rarely worked - talk about old-school. Unlike today's high-tech ovens, that round one was all we could afford, and it did the job for our Deepavali baking. While Mom made the dough, the rest of us rolled, pinched, and added cherries before she popped the cookies in the oven. And yes, the raw dough was just too tempting (EGGLESS CAYENNE CHOCOLATE COOKIES).

Sambal Belacan: Fiery Guide to Malaysian & Indonesian

(Updated Version)

It's sambal belacan. Wowww! Who's a fan of sambal belacan? If you are, we’re in the same sambal belacan tribe. My love for sambal belacan began in my teens, and it's curious how I’m the only one in my family who drools over it - neither my late dad, my late mum, nor my two brothers share this passion. It’s a bit of a mystery.

Let’s start with belacan. Belacan is a fermented shrimp paste, widely used in Southeast Asian cuisine, particularly in Malaysia, Indonesia (YOGYAKARTA INDONESIAN TASTES), and Singapore. It’s made by fermenting tiny shrimp, often krill, which are salted and left to ferment for several weeks. After fermentation, the shrimp are sun-dried and ground into a paste, which is then formed into blocks or cakes and left to mature, developing a strong, pungent aroma. Belacan adds depth and umami to dishes and is often used in sambal belacan, curries, or stir-fries. It’s typically toasted before use to enhance its flavor (ASAM PEDAS IKAN BAWAL).

Misdiagnosis of Depression in Menopause: Yoga for Relief

Author
Ms. Krishnan N, a Zen entrepreneur in her 60s, founded Nava's Zen at 58. With 22 years as a lecturer, including 13 years in the Curtin University of Technology Perth, Australia Degree Twinning Program, she is now a certified yoga instructor, coach, and counselor. Her expertise enriches her current work.

Abstract
This article examines the misdiagnosis of depression during menopause and the potential benefits of yoga as a complementary treatment. It highlights the limitations of conventional approaches that often oversimplify menopausal symptoms by labeling them as depression. Through the author's personal experiences, it is demonstrated how yoga can offer significant relief and mental clarity beyond what is typically achieved with standard medical treatments.

The discussion emphasizes the importance of integrating yoga into mental health care, not only as a supplementary remedy but as a vital tool for enhancing overall well-being. The findings suggest that a more nuanced understanding of menopause-related mental health issues and the inclusion of yoga in treatment plans can lead to improved outcomes and greater self-reliance.

Easy Mango Sticky Rice (Khao Niew Mamuang) Recipe

(Updated Version)

Khao Niew Mamuang, or Thai mango sticky rice, is a dessert loved across the globe (TAM TIM KROB: THAI RED RUBIES). "Khao Niew" means sticky or glutinous rice, and "Mamuang" means mango. I’ve had plenty of Thai Mango Sticky Rice, but trust me, not all are worth raving about. Even in Thailand (CHIANG MAI & CHIANG RAI), some were just average, and the worst were those sold in the evening but made in the morning. But when it’s good, it’s really good - like the street food version I had in Pattaya. I tried a few varieties, including Sticky Rice with Dried Shrimp Sugar, Sticky Rice with Custard, and of course, the traditional Sticky Rice with Mango. I couldn't resist packing back to my hotel, stashing them in the fridge, and enjoying them bit by bit.

Nyonya Pineapple Tarts: Handcrafted, Buttery, and Crispy

(Updated Version)

This Indian lady is definitely a bit different. While most Indian women and men make pineapple tarts for Deepavali, I chose to bake them for Chinese New Year. Strange, right? It was just me using my semester break to make Nyonya Pineapple Tarts. I wanted to practice my baking skills (EASIEST BANANA CHOCOLATE CAKE) - after all, practice makes perfect. But I’m not looking to turn this into a business; it’s just a fun hobby for me (INDULGENT CHEESECAKE SWEET DELIGHTS).

Istanbul, Turkey: Discovering Through Timeless Travels

Turkey, the crossroads of Europe and Asia, boasts a rich history influenced by both continents. This unique blend of European and Asian (CHANDIGARH, NORTH INDIA URBAN MARVELS) traditions creates a vibrant and diverse culture. As a popular tourist destination, Turkey attracts visitors year-round. I recently spent 8 days exploring this fascinating country, starting in Istanbul and traveling through Canakkale, Kusadasi, Pamukkale, Cappadocia, Ankara, and Bolu. The long coach journeys, depending on the distance (SURAKARTA INDONESIA HEARTBEAT), sometimes took almost a full day, with stops at attractions and breaks for meals and comfort. Curious about the places (PRETORIA SOUTH AFRICA MOMENTS) I visited in Turkey? Come, follow me on my journey through this country.

Pork Belly With Salted Fish: Steamed and Stir-Fried

(Updated Version)

Shhh, let’s keep this between us! Ms. Nava’s got a soft spot for pork—don’t let the holy rollers know! The ultra-religious crowd might bring out their Hinduism rulebook and wag their fingers at me. Yes, Hinduism emphasizes vegetarianism and non-violence, but nowhere in the sacred texts does it say pork is off-limits (MALAYSIAN WILDBOAR CURRY). Ah, Hindus - whether you’re all about pork, mutton, or are a part-time vegetarian (you know, on those countless Hindu holy days), there’s no express ticket to heaven based on what’s on your plate. So, let’s leave the judgment at the door, shall we? Zen Cuisine and Zen Wellness certainly don’t discriminate based on diet (EXQUISITE CHINESE PRAWN RECIPES).

Thai Red Curry: Prawn, Mutton & Egg Flavor Profiles

(Updated Version)

The vibrant, aromatic Thai Red Curry Paste is the heart of many delicious dishes. Once you've made this paste, you’re almost ready to whip up a flavorful Thai Red Prawn Curry. It’s a versatile paste, perfect for adding your choice of seafood, chicken, or pork. While I can't say for sure if it works with beef, I can definitely vouch for my Thai Red Mutton Curry. In fact, I’ve made it countless times, along with prawn and egg variations (THAI SPICY EGGPLANT).

Sexual and Mental Affairs of Urbanites: Yoga for Body and Mind

Author
Ms. Krishnan N, a Zen entrepreneur in her 60s, founded Nava's Zen at 58. Chinese Rice Congee: Best Accompaniments and Tips

(Updated Version)

Let me tell you about rice congee, also known as rice porridge or in our local Bahasa Malaysia, Bubur Nasi. In Tamil, it’s called Arisi Kanji, and in Mandarin, it's zhou1. Essentially, it's rice cooked with way more water than usual, giving you a light, soupy version of rice. It’s also known as “poor people’s food” - the ultimate hack for stretching out your rice supply. And guess what? I’m still reppin’ that category - the "poor woman club." I grew up in a poor family, and my mum? Oh, she was the queen of stretching out that rice. Pair it with some wild spinach we’d pluck from outside our government house, cook it up with a little garlic and ikan bilis (anchovies), and boom. Soup’s on.

It’s a meal I still cherish to this day - congee and spinach anchovy soup (or soup bayam ikan bilis, for those in the know). Even today, it’s still seen as humble food. You won’t catch a "successful" Indian family serving it up because, let’s be real, it’s seen as an embarrassment. Congee and soup are considered beneath them, something only for those still on the struggle bus.

Chrysanthemum Goji Berry Jelly & More Zen Jellies

(Updated Version)

I have a wealth of stories, and one I'm excited to share involves my journey with jellies. When I first launched Nava K, now known as Nava’s Zen, 14 years ago, I started making desserts, and jellies made with agar-agar were among the simplest to create. I'll be sharing these recipes, but the standout is undoubtedly Chrysanthemum Goji Berry Jelly. Although it's a traditional Chinese jelly, I was surprised to find that even many Chinese people were unfamiliar with this style. It left me quite speechless!

Goji berries are a staple in my kitchen, often used in Chinese soups and noodle dishes (CHINESE VEGETABLE NOODLE SOUP). I also regularly make chrysanthemum tea. With these ingredients always on hand, what more can I add?

The Komunal Bukit Rimau: A MIxed Review

I can't provide a detailed history or pinpoint when The Komunal Bukit Rimau first made its mark among the eateries in Bukit Rimau and Kota Kemuning, given the subtle boundary between these two areas (CHAMELEON KOTA KEMUNING & BUNS & NOODLES BUKIT RIMAU). My discovery was serendipitous, as The Komunal Bukit Rimau surfaced during an online search among a plethora of dining options. Positioned at a corner lot in a commercial building with residential condos above, the four of us arrived around 9:30 a.m.

The establishment exudes a cozy atmosphere, enhanced by sunlight streaming through the surrounding glass walls, creating a comfortable and inviting space. After perusing a menu that boasts an impressive variety, we made our selections. Notably, desserts require a visit to the counter to choose from an enticing display.

Indian Crab Rasam: Zen-Approved Healthy Nandu Soup

(Updated Version)

Rasam, a Zen nutritious Indian spiced soup, is already a powerhouse on its own (RASAM VARIATIONS UNIQUE TWISTS). Now, imagine adding crab claws (often called crab legs) to it – transforming it into what’s known as Indian Crab Soup or Nandu Rasam. This dish becomes an explosion of Zen flavors and nourishment for the mouth, throat, and stomach, embodying mindful eating without sacrificing taste.

Despite its health benefits, Nandu Rasam is surprisingly absent from buffet tables, social gatherings, and functions among Indians. While crab dishes often make appearances at family events, this flavorful soup is usually overlooked. Instead, spicy mutton, spicy chicken, sambar, and kurma dominate the scene - even though they’re not necessarily more cost-effective.

Miris Malu: Claypot Sri Lankan Mango Fish Curry

(Updated Version)

Miris malu is a cherished Sri Lankan dish (SRI LANKAN CARROT SAMBOLA), celebrated for its bold flavors and spicy essence. The name "miris malu" translates to "spicy fish" in Sinhalese, and this curry lives up to its name with fresh fish simmered in a rich, aromatic gravy. In Ms. Nava’s traditional version, a touch of green mango adds a unique twist. As a Malaysian Indian, this familiar ingredient introduces a natural tang that beautifully complements the thick, spicy curry, resulting in a dish with tender fish pieces immersed in a flavorful sauce. Although I had the pleasure of tasting some of Sri Lanka’s finest fish curries during my visit (KATARAGAMA SACRED TRIALS), I did not encounter one with mango. I wonder why that is (COLOMBO DISCOVERY).

4 Chilli Chicken Creations: Cashew Nut, Indo Style, Honey & Stew

(Updated Version)

Chilli Chicken is more than just a staple in Chinese eateries - it's a dish that invites creativity and personal flair. Whether you order it as part of a group meal or spot it at a Chinese mix rice (chap fun) stall, Chilli Chicken is always a crowd-pleaser. The classic recipes are great, but for Ms. Nava, adding her unique twist is a must. If you've noticed in the pictures, she likes to throw in some potatoes - have you ever tried Chilli Chicken with potatoes? If not, it's time to get adventurous in your kitchen (PORTUGUESE CHICKEN DEVIL CURRY). Or why not add your own twist with ingredients that excite you?

I’m about to share how you can transform Chilli Chicken  (MALAY CHICKEN RECIPES) into something entirely new, while keeping chillies and chicken as the stars of the show. Whether you prefer fresh red chillies or dried ones, this versatile dish is all about bold flavors and personal touches. For a typical Malaysian like me, chillies are essential, adding that spicy kick I can’t live without.

Penang Palate Pleasures: A Culinary Expedition

Hungry for more culinary adventures (PENANG FOOD FINDS)? Let's keep the food hunt going! Calling all fellow foodies to join me as we uncover more delicious eateries across Penang Island (PENANG SIGHTSEEING SPOTS). No time to waste - let's dive right in! Because let's be real, food isn't just a necessity; it's a passion that fuels our lives (PENANG THAIPUSAM JOURNEY OF FAITH). So, are you ready to embark on this flavorful journey with me?

Passions Of Kerala (Taman Brown, Gelugor)

As the name suggests, Passions Of Kerala serves up traditional Kerala cuisine, made from scratch. For lunch, the obvious choice is a banana leaf meal. Along with rice, you'll get curries, chutney, pickle, and side dishes. We also added fried fish, mutton parathal, and chicken parathal. As we dug in, we agreed it was a decent meal. However, the bold flavors didn’t really wake up our taste buds or leave a lasting impression.

Kuih Buah Melaka

(UPDATED VERSION)

Let me take you on a journey into the world of Kuih Gula Melaka, a delightful Malaysian treat that holds a special spot in my heart. Originating from Melaka (MALACCA FOOD FIESTA), it's also known as Ondeh-Ondeh in some parts of the country. Imagine this - small, sticky rice balls filled with palm sugar syrup, all coated in fragrant grated coconut. It's a heavenly mix of sweetness and texture that always leaves me craving for more.

Now, if you're thinking of trying your hand at making Kuih Gula Melaka, let me share some tips I've picked up along the way. It's been a while since I last whipped up a batch, but every time I do, it feels like reconnecting with an old friend. First things first, make sure your dough isn't too sticky - trust me, you don't want a gooey mess on your hands. Wetting your palms can make shaping the balls a breeze. And whatever you do, resist the temptation to stuff too much palm sugar inside. Overdoing it can lead to cracked balls, and nobody wants that. Oh, and don't forget to chop the palm sugar (WAJIK PULUT/GLUTINOUS RICE CAKES) into tiny pieces for maximum sweetness in every bite.

Gobi Manchurian & More: Irresistible Veg Cauliflower Recipes

(Updated Version)

For years, I have been cooking with cauliflower, known as Gobi in Hindi. I’ve used Gobi countless times, creating numerous dishes, from soups and curries to stir-fries. One of my household favorites is Gobi Manchurian, along with Gobi Pakora (batter-coated crispy fried cauliflower). Simply fried cauliflower also makes an appearance in my kitchen, and the list goes on. I recall that during my growing-up years, cauliflower was an expensive and rare vegetable, making infrequent appearances in my mum’s cooking.

Over time, it has become more affordable, which is why I now frequently buy it. I believe that it’s not the expensive ingredients that make a meal delicious, but rather using affordable ingredients creatively to make a sumptuous zen home meal. Cauliflower can be transformed into a zen dish using Indian spices, creating a nutritious, flavorful, and uplifting meal for the breath, body, mind, and soul (PORTUGUESE VEGETARIAN DEVIL CURRY).

I have several cauliflower recipes to share with you, so you can save this post and not have to search for other Gobi or cauliflower recipes.

Mandarin Orange Recipes: Zen Wellness Cake, Sorbet & Marmalade

(Updated Version)

Every year, those mandarins start rolling in like an unexpected gold rush. You know the drill- people you barely see suddenly become your best friends, just as their surplus of mandarins is about to turn into compost. They play it sly, waiting until they’ve exhausted all other options and then “generously” pass on the citrus burden to you. It’s a guilt trip wrapped in orange peel, hitting all the right notes of “Indian sentiment,” though oddly enough, you’re never on their invite list for Chinese New Year festivities.

Ah, cultural quirks in Malaysia! It’s a dance of exchange and expectations. Deepavali might have you knee-deep in preparations and guests, but when it comes to Chinese New Year, you get the oranges and the occasional cookie—no dinner invites or grand feasts for you.

Erectile Dysfunction and Libido in Modern Men: Yoga's Natural Remedy
