Easy Grilled Turmeric Tofu Recipes

Turmeric, with its vibrant yellow-orange hue, is as calming to the mind as it is versatile in the kitchen. Renowned for its health benefits, turmeric is anti-inflammatory, rich in antioxidants, supports digestion, boosts immunity, and promotes heart and brain health.

At Nava’s Zen, we grow turmeric in a large pot, and from such fresh turmeric, turmeric powder is processed into a fine powder for cooking and medicinal purposes.

Turmeric powder not only removes strong odors from meats but also adds depth to curries and stir-fried vegetables. However, it should be used sparingly to avoid a bitter taste.


Turmeric powder is the key ingredient for Easy Grilled Turmeric Tofu (DELICIOUS VEGETARIAN TOFU RECIPES), a dish that’s even better when grilled over banana leaves. Easy Grilled Turmeric Tofu

There’s no need for precise measurements - just go with the flow.

 

Ingredients

Tofu  - cut into pieces

Turmeric powder

Salt

A few banana leaves (optional)

2 to 3 tbsp oil

 

Method

Mix tofu pieces with turmeric powder and salt.

Lay banana leaves on a flat grilling pan and pour oil on top.

Heat the oil, then place the tofu pieces on the banana leaves.

Grill on both sides until golden.
